11 Oct 2013 : As part of the I-Week activities of KMEA Engineering college organized a lecture on “Internet of Things” with the technical sponsorship from IEEE Kochi Subsection. Shahim Baker, Secretary IEEE Kochi Subsection handled the topic. He explained the evolution of internet of things, its application areas and examples of IoT applications. He mentioned that there are several companies which already started commercial production of products enhanced for Internet of things. He also mentioned about the standards development activities undertaken by IEEE’s Internet of Things working groups.
